We believe in the top water experience and all that goes with it. There is simply nothing in the fishing world that can compare with the heart stopping action of a wild creature blasting up from the depths in pursuit of its intended quarry.
Whether it be a sailfish slicing through the surface all "lit up with excitement", a bluegill in a quiet urban reservoir sipping that tiny popper off the top or a Snook crashing an artificial along a mangrove lined edge the feeling is the same and doesn't require explanation. There is just something more when you intentionally break the surface in search of top water action.
That said and even though pulling a popper across the surface is a relatively simple task, in order to experience continued success there is simply more to it than that.
From Bluegills to Billfish:
Whether you're targeting Striped bass or Largemouths, Bluefish or Pike, Redfish, Peacocks or the various species of Bream the deal is the same, they all love top water. The list goes on and on. It's a combination of what you're presenting, when you are presenting it and how you make that presentation that makes all the difference.
